I love it...but...

There's no 1/2-star or 3/4-star. I bought my original bottle when it was available at the hot ones website and absolutely freaking LOVED it... garlicy instead of vinegar or sweet - hot but not too much (of course all that is subjective).

I went without for a long time because it wasn't available and I found it "direct" so bought 3 bottles!

I can't say for sure if it's my taste buds or the batch itself but the latest bottle is: a) hotter, b) less garlic. This adds to "c) not as magical as before".

This is NOT a negative review, I really like the hot sauce and maybe the next 2 bottles will be like my first. AND I understand small-batch food processing, very difficult to be consistent.

So... 4.8 stars!

Surprisingly spicy

I'm a mild to medium heat person, this is more medium to hot. I was fooled by it being sauce # 2 on Hot Ones. It does taste good but it's just too hot for me.

This is where my addiction to hot sauce started.

My goodness is this sauce delicious. I added it to my cart from another website while purchasing other goods, now I’m buying 5 bottles of this sauce to keep in my pantry. I LOVE it as a dipping sauce for fried chicken and basically anything else. Spice level is perfect for me since I love spice, but not so overwhelming that I’m losing access to my senses. Looking to try their other hot sauces, I think I like this more because of the garlic, so we’ll see how the others go.
